Partnership for Social Services
You may have heard that Maria, Vince and I have "adopted" local charities and/or causes for the entire year. Throughout 2006 I will be telling you all about the Partnership for Social Services.

The Family Center on Wyker Road in Franklin provides services that address the needs of individuals, families and groups in our community, especially the poor, to advocate for justice and convene others to do the same. There are stress reduction seminars for mothers, a self enhancement group meets every Tuesday at 7:30 and a support group to deal with the grief of divorce and separation every Wednesday evening at 7:30. The Partnership also operates a food pantry to help needy families and individuals all year round. Food donations are always welcome. Visit Sr. Thomasina's second choice shop every Wednesday and Saturday from 9am to 2 pm for quality clothing and household items at excellent prices!

For more details, visit the Partnership's website.
