I'll never forget the day the reports of that horrible crash on Route 80 in Mount Olive started to come in. It was almost 6 years ago. A Paramus school bus driver missed the exit for Waterloo Village. So he attempted an illegal U turn on the interstate. A dump truck slammed into the bus so hard it was knocked off it's frame. A little girl and a teacher on the school field trip were killed. Months later bus driver Hudy Muldrow pled guilty to two counts of vehicular homicide in Morristown. After the crash we learned Muldrow's license had been suspended 14 times. Yet somehow he was hired to drive a school bus. He was 77 years old when he was sentenced. The judge said "It was difficult to imagine the operation of a vehicle with a greater degree of recklessness," Muldrow is eligible for parole on May 19th. If he is released from prison in Cumberland County he will have served just over four years. He is now 83 years old.
